Service Description

Child and youth counselling offers emotional and psychological support to children and young people as they face the challenges of growing up. From changes at home or school to struggles with emotions, behavior, or relationships, counselling provides a safe, non-judgmental space where young people can express themselves freely and learn healthy ways to cope. A qualified counsellor uses age-appropriate techniques—such as play, art, storytelling, or talk therapy—to help children make sense of their experiences, build resilience, and develop stronger emotional and social skills. Support Areas May Include: - Anxiety, sadness, or low mood - Behavioural concerns or anger issues - Parental separation or family conflict - Bullying or peer pressure - Trauma or loss - Social and communication difficulties The goal is to help children and youth feel heard, understood, and empowered as they grow into emotionally healthy and confident individuals.
